Couldn't initialize VSS

user offline
I could complete phase-I and phase-II successfully, but during "phase-III", following message appeared:

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Copying installation to target system volume

Copying installation from E: to F: -->

Selected source drive is system drive -> Creating shadow of source drive

Could't initialize VSS

Selected source drive is system drive -> Cleaning up shadow of source drive

Copying of installation failed

cmdCopyInstallation: Copying of installation from E: to F. failed (0x8007007F)

PROGRAM ABORTED BEFORE COMPLETION

AS YOU DID NOT ABORT MANUALLY, THIS INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS MAY HAVE BEEN !!!CORRUPTED PAST RECOVERY!!!
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I have activated the services concerned to "Volume Shadow Copy", but the problem remains. Could anybody help, please?

thank you.

I am getting the same error frown

To make use of the Windows Volume Shadow Services there has to be at least one NTFS volume with sufficient free space in the system.

But even then there seem to be various causes that will prevent VSS from working.

Until now there has not been reported a single case in which the failure of VSS could be evidently traced back to some malfunction of USBoot itself.
