usboot xp kill vista

user offline
Usboot-xp worked fine on usb flash drive laptop and it can also shutdown completely.
On next reboot the preinstalled vista wont boot anymore, I guess xp killed vista system restore & shadow copy. Dont worry about vista, I know to fix it.
The problem is: how I can boot off usboot-xp safely without demage vista files?
Thanks for any command.

Don't blame USBoot, it doesn't kil vista nor win7. evil

You broke it!

I had tested/fixed about 4-5 laptops and few desktops with flashdrive-usboot, fixed, non killed.

Try to remember the steps or what you did, every detail but, if you installed and set ready xp on your laptop with usboot, then fresh install of xp kills any linux, vista or win7 based system.

it is basic knoledge that when you install xp on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc drive with your initial HDD with working OS on it connected, your boot.ini file is modiffied and you mess all of them. you may notice that none of the other HDD will boot by themselves, but they will all boot their own operating sytem installed on them, when user choose each from the boot.ini modified file on the main HDD (usually HDD0).

as the loader is still in place on each HDD that used to have an individually working OS installed, this mess can be fixed by simply editing and correctly configuring boot.ini on each HDD (supposingly you understand how they work and what you are doing).
