hi i have used this for some time. something messed up got a disk read error. anyways i reformatted and reinstalled usboot. the problem im getting the preference is slower then it was before.

At least for flash solid state disks there is a well known effect that they will to a greater or lesser extent decrease in performance with increasing time of use.
So one explanation for your issue may be the wearout of your device.

its a usb 2.0 hdd before streaming video ran fine. now i get alot of lag on anything demanding. i dunno if the newer version of usboot just has slower preforance or what.

strangly enough running threw phase 0 1 and 2 seems to have salved it.

ok i have been trying to work the problem hear, i think thers a memory leak in the new version. anything i run is fine for a few minutes then it just legs like crazy. turning off swap makes the problem worse. something that got changed from the old ver to 2.11 has messed up the performance.

What is the "old" version you are referring to?
