Hide ubsvcgd.sys from task manager

user offline

If there is a way to hide ubsvcgd.sys from the taskmanager id like to know how to without any third app.

A possitive answer is expected. santa

BTW. After windows loads the desktop, get stuck for about a minute, if it is caused by a usboot driver, id like to disable without lose of capabilities as handling second (USB) partitions wich is not possible from normal windows install nor partition managers installed there.rolleyes

Actually there is no such built in functionality integrated in ubsvcgd.sys, however why should it be hidden?

When booting from USB?

If so, are you using a flash based device?

Seems like a driver to me, nothing very special as no driver files are listed that i have seen before.

Runs from MicroSD 2 GB Kingston just few seconds slower than corsair survivor 16 GB or turboflash 1 GB (22MB/s Write-35MB/s Reading).

While it boots, both seems equal but at the desktop after waiting, everything works same or faster than HD.

Thanks for your reply.

'ubsvggd.sys' is no driver but a service that runs in a process on its own (and not in the context of a 'svchost.exe' host process).

This behaviour seems to occur when using (some) flash devices. I actually do experience the same issue when booting form an 16GB A-Data USB Stick but i did not recognize this 'hang' when using a 4GB Extremememory SD Card (not SDHC!) in a Pretec e-Disk reader.
